I grew up in Halifax County, VA and graduated from Virginia Tech - Business in 1985. After working a few years in production planning with Burlington Industries, I moved to Danville, VA and began my career with State Farm Insurance in 1989. I was interested in becoming an agent for State Farm because of their highly respected reputation for service and leadership in the industry.
